I'm new to POE & I'm excited for the Druid
Hello Exiles👋🏽 I'm new to POE & ARPGS (Isometric) in general. I picked up POE earlier this year but I was kind of put off by the clicky, spam to win gameplay with all the colors and explosions towards the end of the game that I didn't actually finish it. I enjoyed the slow gameplay at the start & this is why i'm soo excited for POE 2's more interactive & challeging gameplay.
So in POE 1 there wasn't any class that really caught my eye, I played Ranger but I wasn't really hyped about it. Now POE has some classes that get me excited i.e The Druid, Monk & Merc in that order. But I wanna go all in on the Druid cause I really love shape-shifting/animal abilities in general. During the Druid showcase, Jonathan mentions that the Bear is only one of "many" forms. So I was wondering, what are the usual forms that the Druid usually has in these sought of games? I know the Werewolf is one of them just like D4 Druid but like what are the usual others? Is it only the 2? Like I said I'm new to these kinda games and thinking about it just gets me excited lol
Honestly,I'd be happy with 3: * WereBear for Strength/Tankiness * WereWolf for Speed/Agility * WereGorilla for Strength/Agility
I'd also love a creature for air combat and another for ranged combat but I can't think of anything else outside of the lore associated with a Druid. A Grifith and Centaur would be cool but I don't think they make the fit lol
I'm sooo excited for this class and what we will be able to do with all these skills & supports. Becoming a a nature/elemental god while also shape-shifting into animals? Summoning animals too? Aaahhhhh!!! I'm hoping he'll have some Water elemental skill as well! I wanna make a crazy ass blizzard/wind build and just stomp on everything in Bear form GIVE ME THIS GAME NOW PLEASE!!
